Elizabeth Page, who goes by Nikki, is a two-time Rockin’ Recipient who attends Jefferson Community and Technical College through the College Connections program in conjunction with Down Syndrome of Louisville. She loves shopping, dancing, singing and watching movies, and she made great strides last year in developing her independent living skills in college. She is also an accomplished artist who loves her drawing classes at JCTC.

To younger students with Down syndrome, Nikki’s advice is that “anything is possible with help.” To the parents of these young students, she says, “Don’t hold your kids back, let them grow up and learn to live on their own.” Great advice, Nikki — keep on rockin’ it at JCTC!
