Greg will begin his first year in Coastal Carolina University’s LIFE program. His five-year goals include graduating, getting a job in sports and entertainment, and living independently.
Greg became an Eagle Scout in 2012. In high school, he was manager of the boys’ basketball team and earned the Lehigh County Award for Exemplary Citizenship. He has worked as a lobby attendant at a Marriott hotel for the past four years, and has also held positions as a fitness center attendant and an equipment manager. Greg writes, “My favorite hobbies are anything to do with sports and entertainment.”
In his scholarship application, Greg also shared a moment of personal pride: “I made a meaningful contribution to the community when I completed my Eagle Scout project. I collected travel-size personal care items for the World Surgical Foundation. It made me feel good that these items went to people in Haiti who just had surgery and are getting better.”
