Mary will be attending her first semester at the EMPOWER program at the University of Arkansas this fall. She’s looking forward to learning a log in college, and hopes to work in a school when she’s finished.
While at college, Mary plans to continue swimming, something she’s become very accomplished at during her high school years. Mary can swim all four strokes, but mostly competes in freestyle and backstroke.
Swimming is just the start for Mary. She took her 91 year old grandfather skydiving on her 18th birthday! She an outspoken self-advocate, and will do wondrous things at U of A.
