I want to travel the world to motivate and inspire” – Emmanuel Bishop

Emmanuel is a two-time winner of the Ruby’s Rainbow scholarship, one of only a very few Rockin’ Recipients with that distinction. Emmanuel attends Southern Illinois University – Edwardsville and has traveled the world playing violin for excited audiences. In addition to being a traveling musician, he has also spoken as a self-advocate in at least 10 countries, has spoken of the dignity of life in Mexico, and was named an “Ambassador of Hope” in Turkey. As if that weren’t enough, Emmanuel once played violin during Mass at the Vatican!!!!

When he’s not jet-setting around the world to play violin, he is active in his church, where he helps instruct alter boys. He is also an avid swimmer who enjoys bike-riding and playing golf.
