From the moment my daughter, Brisbane, was born rockin’ an extra chromosome, I knew I wanted to get involved in planning for her future. (We had a prenatal diagnosis, but something changed in me the moment I saw her and fell in love with her!) Brisbane is my mini-me, my beautiful daughter who is four years old. She is sassy and sweet and I love her so much! Recently I went to a Lucky Mamas retreat and had the awesome privilege of meeting Ruby’s mom, and I knew I wanted to be a part of Ruby’s Rainbow Pledge Committee! I want to help people with Down syndrome go to college, and someday I hope Brisbane will want to be a recipient of Ruby’s Rainbow!
