Hello all, I am Kelly and my littlest love is named Hazel Grace, and she rocks an extra chromosome. Hazel is the youngest of four kids in our family. When I was pregnant with Hazel we found out that she would have Down syndrome. Since she made her arrival in 2018, she has shown our family that she is the love and light in our world. We can hardly wait to see all that she accomplishes in life. Hazel has taught us a brand new perspective on living, she is everything good and pure that we never knew we needed.
Our family lives in North Carolina, recent transplants from Arizona, and originally from New York. We love to share the love that we have for Hazel, and for the community that she has made us a part of, our new “extended family and friends.” We love for our friends and family near and far to see how completely regular our life with Down syndrome can be. I love to be able to support new families in this journey, that at times, can be so overwhelming.
