Katie is a mother, photographer, writer and advocate. She is outspoken on grief and writes passionately about the awareness and acceptance of grieving after losing her first son, Lochlan, when he was three weeks old. Katie is a mother to three kiddos on earth, her twins Wally + Kenzie, and her son Woodsy. Kenzie is the most beautiful little girl, who lives life loud with Down syndrome and a large dose of sass. Katie is an advocate for inclusion + kindness and works with the local grass-roots organization Down syndrome BC to fight for equity and equality for all people with Down syndrome in her province.
