Hey! I’m Jessica, proud wife and momma to three beautiful children. My husband and I are from Northwest Arkansas, where we are raising our family. I’m also a runner – sometimes logging miles for fun, many times running after kids, oftentimes running late… It seems I am always running!
In 2013, I left my job in higher education to care for our firstborn full-time. Three years later, our second child joined us and rocked our world. With a birth diagnosis of Down syndrome, we naturally had a lot of questions, and I remember one of the first resources I happened to find was Ruby’s Rainbow. I loved seeing Liz’s perspective, and of course I fell in love with Ruby. As a former higher-ed professional, it energized me seeing individuals with Down syndrome attending college and knowing that there are folks like Liz out there helping to make college attendance a reality for them.
I am so excited to be rejoining the Pledge Committee this year and lending a little support to these very capable college students. Let’s rock this!
