I’m proud to be back at it this year raising $$ for Ruby’s Rainbow! With the help of my family and friends, we have raised enough money to grant two Ruby’s Rainbow scholarships so far!
Ruby’s Rainbow opened my eyes to all that is possible for kids like Liam! It goes beyond belonging. It goes beyond advocacy. Ruby’s Rainbow shouts the worth of people with Down syndrome and highlights colleges and programs that believe in their worth too! I love seeing the young adults open their scholarship letters! I love watching videos of college move-in day! I love listening to parents talk about the difficulty of letting go so that their children can pursue their dreams! I want all of this for my son too!
Watching my Pledge webpage explode with support from friends and family reminds me that our Village believes in Liam, and others like Liam, too! Each scholarship awarded shifts the narrative – and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for our son!
