We are SO proud of Rockin’ Recipient James! 🙌 His experience with ClemsonLIFE has been life changing, helping him build skills and confidence every day.

Recently, James spoke at his county council meeting to advocate for public transportation funding and received a huge round of applause. At the very next meeting, the council voted to keep the funding in place. He also completed a five month advocacy program to grow his impact on public policy. Incredible work, James! ❤️

Allie kicked off her junior year in the ACCESS program after wrapping up 10 days of Work Week and sorority recruitment. She has declared a focus in hospitality and is especially excited about her acting class 🎭 She is planning to audition for an upcoming campus performance.

She stays busy with her ZTA sorority and her church, Bridgeway Church.

Addie is thriving in the SEU Link program and says it best: “College is GREAT!” 🎉

She loves living independently and jumping into campus life with football games, clubs, and school events. Her favorite part? Meeting new friends and teachers.

In class, she is building practical skills like health, hygiene, and daily routines. She is proud of her growth too, sharing that she is getting better at tracking homework and staying consistent with her routines.

Rockin’ Recipient Jane kicked off this school year with so much excitement! ❤️ She landed a paid internship at the Down Syndrome Association of Western Michigan, where she will be working with families who come into the center and supporting the teachers who help the kiddos there!

Jane is also diving into classes she loves, including intro to French, Music and Art for Elementary Students (where she’ll even learn to play the ukulele), and she continues to work in the package distribution center on campus! She’s even trying out again for the dance guild program, an intramural for dancers of all levels.

Kevin is thriving after graduating from Union University! He is working at a local diner, playing music (everything from the melodica to the marimba), and even performed in Dancing with the Stars(!).

While in college, Kevin met his girlfriend and fellow Rockin’ Recipient, Brooke, and they have been going strong ever since. 💕 Even though they live an hour apart, they talk every day and make time for fun adventures together, especially their favorite, summer camp.

Rockin’ Recipient Neva recently made history as part of the very first graduating class of the USCA LIFE program! 🌟 And she’s not stopping there—Neva was selected (out of MANY applicants!) to continue on in the Leadership and Civic Engagement extension program! Only 7 students were chosen, and of course our girl Neva made the cut! 🙌 We’re so proud of her and all the amazing things she’s doing!

Rockin’ Recipient Emily is officially a ClemsonLIFE graduate! She proudly crossed the stage in 2025, and her smile says it all!! After all her hard work, she’s back home in Texas celebrating with family and looking ahead to what’s next. 😊

We are so proud of Rockin’ Recipient Sujay, who recently graduated from Ferris State University! 🎉 Some of his favorite memories include joining the Entertainment Unlimited club, making lifelong friendships, and even being featured in the Legacy of Opportunity documentary.

Sujay also discovered his passion for social media marketing during his time at college and is already putting those skills to work. He’s now interning with GiGi’s Playhouse Detroit, helping build an inclusive future for individuals with disabilities.

Allie is rockin’ her third year at Oakland Community College, working toward her Associate Degree in the Arts 🎓

Last February, she was sworn in as a voting member of the Michigan Developmental Disabilities Council, where she helps shape conversations around legislation, employment, housing, and education for people with developmental disabilities across Michigan.

From attending quarterly meetings to participating in a two-day retreat to plan the next Five Year Plan, Allie continues to use her voice to advocate for greater independence.

Kevin and Brooke met in the EDGE program at Union University, and now they are dating! 😍 Kevin works at a local diner, works out at the gym and takes a weekly dance class. Brooke is working in the food service department at a senior living facility, where she helps set up, serve the food, and clean up afterward. She loves her job, and they love her!! Brooke and Kevin live an hour apart but they talk and get together often!
