Cameron Kindree Fernandez: Georgia State University – IDEAL
2024
Cameron is this year’s recipient of the Ruby’s Rainbow Nora Fadley Scholarship Award. This fall, he begins his third year in the IDEAL program at Georgia State University, where he is studying the Arts, taking courses in theatre, singing and music. He also plans to take French classes.
Cameron is athletic as well as musical, and enjoys playing basketball and soccer along with the trumpet and piano. He says, “I’m really proud that I am good at drama and monologues.” College has helped him become more empowered to advocate for his needs and pursue the life he wants to live.
