Brooklyn Tonjes: University of Arkansas – EMPOWER

Brooklyn begins her freshman year in the EMPOWER program at the University of Arkansas this fall, where she plans to study hospitality. After graduation, she hopes to live independently, work in a coffee shop and have a shih tzu as a pet.
Brooklyn loves movies, concerts and WWE. She is proud to have been an NE State Cheer champion. She says, “I am excited for an opportunity to make everyone proud of my accomplishments because they have done so much to help me. I want to be a leader for Down syndrome.”
