Maria Alzamora

Maria Alzamora is beginning her freshman year in Auburn University’s EAGLES program this fall as this year’s Ruby’s Rainbow Patrick Judd Memorial Scholarship Award recipient, focusing on independent living and life skills with graduation expected in May 2030.
Maria has competed in Special Olympics horseback riding for the past two years, earning an impressive five gold medals along the way. Her goals for college mirror that same drive: live independently and find a rewarding job.
Maria loves music, hanging out with friends, and sports of all kinds.
