Kayla N. Flinkstrom

Kayla N. Flinkstrom is entering her third year at St. Joseph’s College of Maine this fall as this year’s Ruby’s Rainbow Scholarship Award recipient, focusing her studies in Marketing and Leadership, with Psychology and Ecology among her favorite electives, and graduation expected in Spring 2028.

Kayla is a fastidious student who plans ahead when studying for tests and has learned to ask for help along the way, habits she’s rightfully proud of. Her goals for the future include internships that let her apply her marketing and business skills, with an eventual dream of starting her own business, possibly a bakery.

On campus, Kayla loves going to Bingo, trivia night, and hanging out in her friends’ rooms. As the youngest of eight children, she and her siblings have mutually shaped each other’s lives, and Kayla says she feels lucky every day for the wonderful support system she has.

Kayla, your attention to detail and determination will take you far. Bring on a fantastic third year!
