Grace Sanchez

Grace Sanchez is beginning her freshman year at Judson University’s RISE Program this fall as this year’s Ruby’s Rainbow Matilda Gillard Scholarship Award recipient, choosing the creative arts curriculum to match her talents as a writer and singer.

Grace recently won first place in a horse show’s walk/trot class, taking home a ribbon and a beautiful belt buckle, a proud reflection of her dedication both in and out of the saddle. She’s excited to immerse herself fully in the RISE program, learn everything she can, and make new friends, with future goals of working with animals or children and living independently.

Grace fills her days with singing, writing, painting, horseback riding, swimming, and helping others. She’s known for being kind and loving to everyone she meets, a bright light who always seems to know exactly when someone needs a hug or a word of encouragement.
