Mia Crump: Washington State University – ROAR

Mia is a two-time Rockin’ Recipient and this year’s recipient of the Ruby’s Rainbow Sophia Whitney Scholarship Award. This fall, she begins her sophomore year in the ROAR program at Washington State University, where she is studying advocacy, music and early childhood education. Her future plans include getting a full-time job she enjoys, living independently and traveling the world.

Mia loves music, social media and traveling. Those who know her describe her as brave and always open to new adventures, new people and new ideas to grow. She is deservedly proud of herself for having lived independently at college during her freshman year, away from her family.
