Lauren Peterson: Clemson University – ClemsonLIFE

Lauren is a four-time Rockin’ Recipient and this year’s recipient of the Ruby’s Rainbow McKirgan Family Scholarship Award. This fall, she begins her senior year in the ClemsonLIFE advanced program at Clemson University, where she is pursuing General Studies. She loves living independently as part of the advanced program. After she graduates, she plans to advocate more for individuals with disabilities and promote the ClemsonLIFE program.

Lauren loves singing, writing, hanging out with her friends and attending Clemson sporting events. She was proud to be chosen by her sorority, Kappa Delta, to represent them at a recent Miss Clemson pageant, where she won the Miss Congeniality award.
