Kirra Troeger: UC Davis – Redwood SEED Scholars

Kirra is a two-time Rockin’ Recipient and this year’s recipient of the Ruby’s Rainbow Frederik Thomsen Scholarship Award. This fall, she begins her junior year in the Redwood SEED Scholars program at the University of California, Davis, where she is studying elementary education. She loves juggling her classes, dorm life, friendships and volunteering. Her future plans include traveling on student service trips and living independently with her college friends.

Kirra loves dance, theater, surfing, and generally being in the ocean. She is fluent in American Sign Language and was crowned California Miss Amazing in 2023. She works at the UCD campus market and is looking forward to living in an apartment this year at school.
