Kiernan Smith: Ruby’s Rainbow Cameron Hoffman Scholarship Award

Kiernan is this year’s recipient of the Ruby’s Rainbow Cameron Hoffman Scholarship Award. This fall, she begins her freshman year in the ELEVAR program at the University of North Texas, where she plans to study hospitality. She is currently employed as a dietary aide in a rehabilitation and care center. She enjoys working with the residents and looks forward to returning to them and advancing her career in the field after completing her college education. Someday, she would like to work as an activity director for a rehab or nursing home care center.

In her free time, Kiernan enjoys singing, dancing, fishing, and pursuing her very active social life with her friends. After college, she plans to live with support in close proximity to her family.
