Katherine Anderson: Kent State University – Career & Community Studies

Katherine is this year’s recipient of the Ruby’s Rainbow Pascal Family Scholarship Award. This fall, she is very excited to begin her freshman year in the Career & Community Studies program at Kent State University, where she plans to study health and education. Her future goals include living independently and helping children with special needs.

In high school, Katherine was on the swim team and was once named Athlete of the Month. In her free time, she enjoys swimming, playing piano and playing card games. Those who know her describe her as a sweet and thoughtful young woman who loves to learn and is interested in understanding and helping others, especially those with disabilities. She is very excited to attend Kent State in the fall!
