Kaiya Delois Stafford: Pathfinder Village – Otsego Academy

Kaiya is this year’s recipient of the Ruby’s Rainbow Miles Bhatia Scholarship Award. This fall, she begins her first year at Otsego Academy at Pathfinder Village, where she is studying culinary arts. She is excited to build new friends and find community at Otsego Academy, and to continue to develop her leadership skills and her confidence in public speaking. Her future plans include living independently and running her own cafe.

In her free time, Kaiya enjoys singing, swimming and spending time with her friends. Those who know her describe her as a wonderful friend and mentor whose work ethic and positive attitude have enabled her to overcome adversities, achieve her goals and inspire others along the way.
