John Smits: University of Colorado–Colorado Springs – Inclusive Services

John is this year’s recipient of the Ruby’s Rainbow Pride Socks Scholarship Award. This fall, he begins his junior year in the Inclusive Services program at the University of Colorado–Colorado Springs, where he is studying athletic training. After graduation, he hopes to get a job he loves in a gym or with a sports team.
In his free time, John loves listening to country music, going to concerts and riding horses. He especially enjoys being a college student, knowing the campus well and making friends on campus.
