Jenny Anderson: Bethel University – BUILD

Jenny is a two-time Rockin’ Recipient and this year’s recipient of the Ruby’s Rainbow William Yahnke Scholarship Award. This fall, she begins her second year in the BUILD program at Bethel University, where she is pursuing Applied Studies with a concentration in Human Services. After she graduates, she plans to become more independent and put her ASL skills to use by working at a camp with children who are deaf or hard of hearing.

In her free time, Jenny enjoys pottery, painting, drawing, music and making YouTube videos. She loves being a Bethel student and being independent! She has loved every minute in college so far and has grown in many ways. She is gaining work experience through internships, is learning cooking skills in preparation for living in an on-campus apartment next fall, and enjoys helping other students in her ASL class.
