Jane Standal: Calvin University – Life and Career Studies

Jane is a two-time Rockin’ Recipient and this year’s recipient of the Ruby’s Rainbow Incredible Ivy Scholarship Award. This fall, she begins her sophomore year in the Life and Career Studies program at Calvin University, where she is studying early childhood education. Last year she was a member of the social committee for her dorm. She is looking forward to getting even more involved this year in campus activities, and plans to join the Future Educators Club. After she graduates, her goal is to live independently and work in a preschool or early childhood center.

Jane is passionate about traveling and meeting new people. She also loves theater and music, as well as watching and playing sports. She is so proud of having the courage to go to college away from home, where she didn’t know anyone. She had a fantastic year!
