2017 Rockin’ Recipient Jacob Nelson Is Doing Great at Shepherds College!!

Happy Saturday, peeps!! Y’all know how much I just love hearing from our Rockin’ Recipients, and ❤ it when they check in to let me know how they’re doing. Well, last week I learned one of our fantabulous 2017 Rockin’ Recipients, Jacob Nelson, has chosen Culinary Arts as his major at Shepherds College! His mom wrote to us to catch us up on how Jacob’s been doing:
“He is learning much about kitchen safety, terminology and techniques. When he was home on spring break, he demonstrated some independence in the kitchen which was fun to see. His favorite activities to participate in have to do with eating out. And his favorite class in school is the Bible course. He has developed some good friendships, and his roommate is one of his best buddies.”
Rock on, Jacob!! We also got to enjoy this short and hilarious bloopers-reel video of Jacob doing takes of saying “thanks” for his Ruby’s Rainbow scholarship! Oh my ❤ I just love his smile, laugh & sense of humor!!! ???????? Hope you get a giggle out of it just like I did!! ????????
