2014 Rockin’ Recipient David De Sanctis Receives Advocacy of the Year Award!!

When it rains it pours, y’all!! So I just posted the other day about one of our Rockin’ Recipients, Mary Borman, attending the first Adult Summit in Washington, D.C., last month, where she met another Rockin’ Recipient, Kayla McKeon, along with several senators and representatives…so amazing!!! Well, 2014 Rockin’ Recipient David De Sanctis was there, too – receiving an Advocacy of the Year award from the National Down Syndrome Society!!! ???????????????? (That’s Kayla McKeon in the pics below, giving David his award!!)
Way to go, David!!! ???????????????? So awesome and well-deserved!! David is an actor who starred in the incredible, heartwarming film Where Hope Grows, about a down-on-his-luck pro baseball player whose life changes for the better when he befriends a young man working at the local grocery store (who is played by none other than the incredible David De Sanctis!!! ❤❤).
Keep on rockin’ it, David – we can’t wait to see what you accomplish next!! ????❤
