Taryn Stinson is currently enrolled in The University of North Carolina at Greensboro’s Integrated Communities Studies program. She’s also a past Ruby’s Rainbow scholarship recipient (class of 2016). Not only is she a past scholarship recipient, but Taryn also helps support the mission and values of Ruby’s Rainbow as one of our Ambassadors!

When Taryn isn’t in school at UNCG, you can find her in one of her volunteer roles — handing out handmade scarves at the local soup kitchen, or making and distributing Good Deed Beads. As much volunteering as Taryn has done, it’s no wonder she wins awards for it, like the Kay Award for “Volunteer of the Year” at the Hickory Community Theatre!

Taryn discovered her dream job during her sophomore year at UNCG in a history course. She fell in love with the subject and wants to work in a history museum. Between participating in conferences, committees, and volunteer boards (including ours) Taryn will touch thousands of lives and change the world for so many people!

Keep doing what you do, Taryn!
