Sarah Pierce

Sarah Pierce is beginning her freshman year at Bowling Green State University’s Firelands Campus Clark Inclusive Scholar Program this fall as this year’s Ruby’s Rainbow Scholarship Award recipient, with graduation expected in Spring 2028 and an interest in child care, though she’s still weighing her options.

Sarah brings an incredibly full resume with her to BGSU. She was a member of student council, earned the Most Spirited Cheerleader award during junior year basketball cheer, sang in choir all four years of high school, and performed in four musicals: The Addams Family, Shrek, Mamma Mia, and Grease. She even served as the voice of Otsego, delivering morning announcements for two years, and has worked at McDonald’s as a server and host for three years.

One of eight children, Sarah is deeply involved in her parish, St. Joe’s in Maumee, Ohio, where she ushers and participates in the Life Teen group. She also loves helping take care of her nieces. Her hobbies include singing, reading, sewing, and of course, cheerleading.
