Peter Cornell

Peter Cornell is heading into his second year at Hope College’s Ready For Life program this fall as this year’s Ruby’s Rainbow Arehart Family Scholarship Award recipient, with graduation expected in Spring 2029 and a heart set on helping people or animals in his future career.

Peter is proud of successfully completing his first year at Hope, walking to classes, learning to cook, and taking care of his house alongside his roommates. This summer, he’s been volunteering five days a week at Wellfield Botanic Gardens and plans to help out at the local Humane Shelter too. His goals for the future include living on his own or with friends, getting a job, and making even more friends along the way.

Peter loves art, listening to music, hanging out with friends, watching video games, and anything Spiderman.
