Payton Strauss

Payton Strauss is beginning her freshman year at East Stroudsburg University’s CILLS Program this fall as this year’s Ruby’s Rainbow Scholarship Award recipient, with graduation expected in 2029. Throughout the program, she’ll complete four internships at different types of businesses to explore what career path fits her best.

Payton has been on the honor roll throughout junior high and high school, and she’s proud of her achievement in Cheerleading PREP STUNT. She’s cheered since second grade and danced since she was three years old, and this past year she performed in her high school’s production of Mamma Mia. She hopes to keep cheering, dancing, acting, and singing at ESU.

Payton’s goals for college include building stronger independent living skills and finding a field she truly enjoys for after graduation.
