Ellie Havrda

Ellie Havrda is heading into her second year at the University of Vermont’s Think College program this fall as this year’s Ruby’s Rainbow Coleman Family Scholarship recipient, studying horticulture with graduation expected in Spring 2028.

Ellie is proud of the path that got her here: first getting into UNH, then UVM, and having successful years living on campus along the way. This fall, she’s hoping to land an internship at the UVM greenhouses, building toward her dream of a career in a greenhouse or on a farm.

When she’s not tending to plants, Ellie loves getting outdoors for skiing, hiking, and swimming.
