Ella Mary Thompson

Ella Mary Thompson is starting the first year of a three year program at Utah Valley University’s Wolverines Elevated this fall as this year’s Ruby’s Rainbow amaZing Z Scholarship recipient, working toward a certificate in Integrated College and Community Studies alongside her love of culinary arts.

Ella has two goals for the years ahead, and she’s not shy about naming both: become a chef, and find a boyfriend, though not necessarily in that order! She’s already proud of getting through high school and into college, a milestone that sets the stage for everything ahead.

When she’s not dreaming up recipes, Ella loves to dance, text her friends, and listen to music. She describes herself as a “peacemaker” and is always reminding others to be one too, and she never misses a chance to give a hug or wear something purple.

Ella, your warmth is contagious. Go get ’em, future chef!
