Anna Krahn: Bethel University — BUILD program (Will Family Scholarship Award)

Anna Krahn is the recipient of this year’s Ruby’s Rainbow Will Family Scholarship Award. She is starting her second, and final, year in the BUILD program at Bethel University, where she is pursuing a Human Services Certificate. 

Anna calls Bethel University her “Dream School,” as it has been her dream to attend college for many years. She has loved meeting new friends through the BUILD program and the wider Bethel University student community. Her favorite activities include hanging out with friends, dancing, and cheering them on in their activities.

One of Anna’s proudest accomplishments is her responsibility in keeping her dorm room and laundry clean, as well as working hard on her projects and assignments for class. This coming year, she’s excited to live in the apartment-style second-year dorms, which will allow her to stretch her independence and confidence even more.

Anna’s goals for the future include learning to be even more independent and responsible and finding a job where she can make people smile.
