Alyssa Biggs: Clemson University — ClemsonLIFE (Lockton Companies Scholarship Award)

Alyssa Biggs is a three-time Rockin’ Recipient and this year’s recipient of the Lockton Companies Scholarship Award. This fall, she begins her junior year in the ClemsonLIFE program at Clemson University and is starting the AP program where she lives in an apartment with three other ClemsonLIFE students instead of the dorms. She is focused on improving her resume to find a job after graduation.

Alyssa loves going to rock concerts, cooking, playing bocce ball, and spending time with her friends. She also enjoys taking care of her baby nephew and has really enjoyed expanding her cooking skills. Alyssa has a social and busy life filled with sorority events, church fellowship, Best Buddies, and time with fellow students. She attends church services every Sunday.

Last year, Alyssa worked as a barista at Grace Coffee and is very proud of the drinks she learned to make. After she graduates, she plans to live with a couple of friends and work at a job she enjoys.

Alyssa stays connected with her family through a “Proof of Life” Snapchat group where she checks in with her mom and sisters all at once. Her favorite part of ClemsonLIFE is “going everywhere and doing everything with everyone.”
