Rommell Hooker: Mississippi State University – ACCESS

Rommell is a two-time Rockin’ Recipient and this year’s recipient of the Ruby’s Rainbow Wells Button Scholarship Award. This fall, he begins his senior year in the ACCESS program at Mississippi State University, where he is studying business. His future plans include working in a shoe or clothing store.

In his free time, Rommell enjoys playing basketball and football and listening to music. He is proud of himself for working on the register at Barnes and Noble, and for earning an A in his microeconomics class as well as maintaining a 3.5 GPA last semester at MSU. He also works at the Grammy Museum, and will be participating in the State Special Olympics in football.
