Eliana Nardelli: Lesley University – Threshold

Eliana is a two-time Rockin’ Recipient and this year’s recipient of the Ruby’s Rainbow Esther Mickey Sisson Scholarship Award. This fall, she begins her second year in the Threshold program at Lesley University, where she is studying Culinary Arts. She is also interested in studying art and nonprofit management. After graduation, she would like to live in an apartment on her own with roommates, and find a career that combines her passions for art and helping others.

Eliana enjoys theater, drawing, yoga, travel and dance. In her freshman year at Lesley, she joined the campus dance team and choreographed her own solo dance. Those who know her describe her as a loving daughter, loyal sister, compassionate friend, diligent student and expressive dancer, and as a risk-taker. She is open to what the world has to offer and embraces each new experience. She is kind and thoughtful, and adept at making others feel heard and included. She is an inspiration to others, having overcome so many obstacles herself and still facing each day with strength, optimism and a smile.
