Cooper Howard: University of Missouri–St. Louis – SUCCEED

Cooper is this year’s recipient of the Ruby’s Rainbow Dylan Kuehl Scholarship Award. This fall, he begins his freshman year in the SUCCEED program at the University of Missouri–St. Louis, where he plans to study archaeology.

Cooper enjoys travel and musical theater, and enjoys being an active member of his community. Between Unified Sports, performing in musicals, leading cheers at football games and being a part of his high school’s leadership team, Cooper has long demonstrated an inclusive attitude and an awareness of the importance of finding one’s place in the world. Travel highlights include a trip to Machu Picchu and other archaeological sites in Peru, and a trip to Mexico to visit Chichen Itza. Cooper has also won gold medals for downhill skiing in the Washington State Special Olympics.
