Connor Phillips: Oklahoma State University – Opportunity Orange Scholars

Connor is this year’s recipient of the Ruby’s Rainbow Lucky Luke’s Scholarship Award. This fall, he begins his freshman year in the Opportunity Orange Scholars program at Oklahoma State University, where he plans to study Career and Community Studies. He looks forward to creating happy college memories with his current friends, as well as meeting new people and making new friends.

Connor enjoys spending time with friends and family, especially doing outdoorsy activities like boating and water sports, swimming, and golfing. He also loves playing with his dogs, CoCo and LuLu, and watching new Marvel and DC releases. He is proud of himself for earning his driver’s permit, graduating high school and being accepted into OSU. He is keen on setting a positive example for others.

Being selected as a Ruby’s Rainbow Rockin’ Recipient has brought Connor a big smile and reinforced his confidence that people he’s never met before believe in him and support him in pursuing his dream of being an OSU Cowboy!
