Catherine Callahan: University of South Carolina – CarolinaLIFE

Catherine is this year’s recipient of the Ruby’s Rainbow Solferino Family Scholarship Award. This fall, she begins her freshman year in the CarolinaLIFE program at the University of South Carolina. She is interested in majoring in communications and improving her public-speaking skills. After she graduates, she wants to live independently and find a meaningful career that serves others.

Catherine enjoys photography, listening to music and singing. She delivered a Senior Speech to the youth at her church, where she shared her story. She is excited to attend USC and is looking forward to getting involved in campus organizations, meeting new friends and going to football games.
