Sara Johnson – Bethany Global University Beyond Limits (Truman Pins Memorial Scholarship Award)

Sara is this year’s recipient of the Ruby’s Rainbow Truman Pins Memorial Scholarship Award. This fall she begins her freshman year in the two-year Beyond Limits program at Bethany Global University, where she plans to study life skills, including independent living skills courses, on-campus job placement, and coaching to gain work skills in a work–study program. After she graduates, she plans to gain meaningful employment and put her independent living skills to good use.

Sara loves dancing and water sports, including fishing and boating. She loves speaking in front of large groups. She has a heart of gold, and shares her happy and positive outlook with all those who are lucky enough to meet her.
