Lauren Peterson – Clemson University ClemsonLIFE (Perio Surgical Arts Scholarship Award)

Lauren is a three-time Rockin’ Recipient and this year’s recipient of the Ruby’s Rainbow Perio Surgical Arts Scholarship Award. This fall she begins her junior year in the ClemsonLIFE advanced program at Clemson University. She has loved her education classes and is excited to be taking a general-education Special Ed course this fall. She hopes to work in a classroom with children someday.

Lauren’s hobbies include writing, attending Clemson sporting events and hanging out with her friends and sorority sisters. When she is home between semesters, she loves working at a local hair salon as well as at Bitty & Beau’s, a coffee shop that employs individuals with disabilities. Lauren is very proud to have been invited to join the ClemsonLIFE advanced program and is excited to get to attend Clemson for two more years.
