Lucy M. Salamon – University of Missouri–St. Louis SUCCEED (Lili Sugahara Scholarship Award)

Lucy is this year’s recipient of the Ruby’s Rainbow Lili Sugahara Scholarship Award. She is a freshman in the SUCCEED program at the University of Missouri–St. Louis, where she plans to take courses in communication. After graduation, she plans to work at her local YMCA and later have a career in public relations.
Lucy loves reading, traveling, hiking, yoga, and spending time with family and friends. She is a proud and active self-advocate, and says, “I have a voice and I have a disability, and I am proud to be someone who can talk about everything.”
