Gabriella Grace Parisi – County College of Morris
2022
Gabriella is a freshman at County College of Morris. A proud graduate of Mount Olive High School, in 2019 she was elected to be the school’s first-ever Homecoming Queen with Down syndrome. She completed the Marauders Believe Program, during which she enjoyed numerous work internships.
Throughout high school, Gabriella was a member of the field hockey, basketball and softball teams. She was also an active participant in Unified Sports and Special Olympics, as well as an ambassador for Best Buddies New Jersey.
Gabriella is a strong advocate for friendships between students with developmental disabilities and typically abled peers. She would like to thank all those who have assisted her along her educational journey. The skills she has developed will carry over into her future. She hopes to inspire others to follow their heart, reach out to those in need and bring joy into the world every day.
