Baylee Auger – Boise State University (Ginny Trawick Scholarship Award)

Baylee is a three-time Rockin’ Recipient and this year’s recipient of the Ruby’s Rainbow Ginny Trawick Scholarship Award. She is a junior at Boise State University, where she is working toward her Associate’s degree. She loves being active with the BSU Dance Club, Dance Marathon and Best Buddies program. She also works at a dance studio as well as volunteering weekly to deliver flowers to the local veterans’ hospital.

An active self-advocate, Baylee was a guest speaker at the Idaho Down Syndrome Walk in October 2021, where she spoke about her college experience. She says, “My message was, YOU CAN DO IT! No matter what you want—you CAN do it!” She also says, “I hope everyone has people around them that believe in them, and help them succeed, like I do. Thank you to Ruby and the Ruby’s Rainbow Scholarship committee for renewing my scholarship and believing in me!”
