Avery Anderson – University of Oklahoma Sooner Works (Durham Family Scholarship Award)

Avery is a two-time Rockin’ Recipient and this year’s recipient of the Ruby’s Rainbow Durham Family Scholarship Award. She is a sophomore in the Sooner Works program at the University of Oklahoma.
Avery loves acting onstage and is a hard worker. Her advice for other students with Down syndrome is “to work hard and never give up on your dreams. People with Down syndrome are amazing and talented.”
