Abeo Anwisye: University of Missouri – SUCCEED

Abeo is attending the University of Missouri SUCCEED Program. She has been involved in Special Olympics, loves to dance, and is an avid volunteer in her community. As a National Down Syndrome Society Ambassador, Abeo traveled to Washington, D.C., and met with senators and congressman to encourage them to vote for the ABLE Act.
She aspires to become a preschool teacher’s assistant and eventually have a class of her own. Abeo admits, “My dreams for the future are big. I know that I will have to work hard and it may take me a longer time to reach some of these goals, but I know that with the help of God, my family and friends, I will dig deep, say a prayer and try the best I can.”
