Grace is a four-time Rockin’ Recipient and this year’s recipient of the Ruby’s Rainbow Sophie’s Scholars Scholarship Award. This fall she begins her senior year in the Inclusive Services program at the University of Colorado–Colorado Springs, where she is studying science. She hopes to have an internship at a local zoo this year so she can achieve her post-graduation goal of getting a job at the Denver Zoo.
Grace loves hiking, cooking and trying new recipes, and having friends over for movie night. She has enjoyed joining clubs, making new friends and trying lots of new experiences over the last few years. She has a job on campus that allows her to talk with other students’ families, which she really enjoys. In fact, presenting to other students, future teachers and families at a variety of events, both virtual and in person, is one of her favorite things to do. She also loves attending campus sporting events, dances, craft activities and movies on the lawn.
We are so proud of you, Grace! It sounds like you have a full, fun and well-rounded life—we can’t wait to see you rock it all the way to graduation!
