Chase Baird – Grand Canyon University L.O.P.E.S. Academy

Chase is heading into his second year in the L.O.P.E.S. Academy at Grand Canyon University this fall, where he had a great first year.

Along with his friend and fellow Rockin’ Recipient Matthew, Chase is active in a dance group called the HIP Hop Homies with Extra Chromies. The group performs and brings messages of inclusion to youth groups at churches, and even performed at a half-time show for the Phoenix Suns.

Chase is a competitive swimmer and also loves hiking, bowling, and going to the movies or the gym with friends. He is very excited to continue his program at GCU, and says, “Thank you for this wonderful opportunity with Ruby’s Rainbow. I am very excited for my future!”
