Kirk is this year’s recipient of the Ruby’s Rainbow Incredible Ivy Scholarship Award. He is excited to attend Ready for Life Academy at Ferris State University this fall, where he is looking forward to learning new things and developing skills that will help him hold a good job and lead an independent life.
Kirk is an avid sports fan and enjoys playing baseball, golf and hockey. His favorite memory is playing on his high school’s varsity hockey team and also serving as the team’s manager. He also enjoyed taking culinary classes in high school and learning how to cook.
