WOW! College Student, Dancer and 2016 Rockin’ Recipient Mikayla Holmgren Is First Person with Down Syndrome to Compete in the Miss Minnesota Pageant!!!

We are have been watching the Miss Minnesota Pageant over here the last two days as one of our Rockin Recipients, Mikayla Holmgren – Dancer with Down Syndrome was the first person with Down syndrome to compete. She rocked the stage in the preliminaries last night, and today Mikayla won the Spirit Award and it is the perfect fit for her for this competition. She was SO amazing, confident and had the most personality when she was rockin that stage!!! 

She ALSO won the Directors Award as well!! Eek!!! We are SO PROUD of you Mikayla !!!! Keep on rockin it Mikayla and showing the world that there is no limit to what people with Down syndrome can achieve!!
